Dear Dealers,
We are excited about our 7th Annual Country Gathering in Powder Springs. Our plans include a “gathering” of antique dealers, historic demonstrators, quality artisans, arts & craft dealers, kids area, food vendors and live music for a summer weekend in Powder Springs. This will be a JURIED show, so please do not bring your merchandise “as found”, but cleaned and ready for a customer’s home. THIS IS A QUALITY SHOW.

Requirements for being a historical demonstrator: We are looking for re-enactors of Civil War or Revolutionary War times or demonstrators representing how things were done in the old days. We have returning for the 7th year: a blacksmith: Ted Vogelsburg from Carrollton, Ga, Possum Run Trading Company: Larry Richardson from LaFayette, Ga., Chair canner: Jack Worrill from Marietta, Ga. and Potter: Robert Roller from Bowden, Ga.
Set up time will be anytime on Friday, June 1, 2007 or Saturday morning before 8:30 a.m. All vehicles will need to be moved out of the area by 8:30 am on Saturday, June 2. This event is rain or shine You are responsible for collecting all applicable sales tax. Make sure your space is free of trash. Plastic bags will be provided for you. Park in designated dealer parking only Historic Downtown Merchants Association and the City of Powder Springs is not responsible for damage, theft or injuries .We will provide security Friday & Saturday after 6:00 pm. Openings for other historic demonstrators are available. Please call for more information |

Thank you for your participation in Country Gathering and helping to make it a great success. We will have fliers for everyone to put in their shops, shows or any other place. The fliers are very important in the advertisement of the show. Your help is needed in passing them out. Fliers will be sent to you with your confirmation. If you

Country Gathering Liability Disclaimer
Historic Downtown Merchants Association of Powder Springs (HDMAPS) and the City of Powder Springs does not provide liability insurance for the protection of consumers or participants in Country Gathering festival. The festival does not provide liability insurance for the protection of vendors exhibiting and selling in arts and crafts booths, food booths, or any other booths exhibiting as a part of the Country Gathering festival.
In consideration of participating as an exhibitor or food vendor, the participant does hereby release and forever discharge the HDMAPS and the City of Powder Springs its officers, officials and members, both jointly and severally, from any and all action, courses of action, claims and demands for, upon or by reason of any damage, loss or injury which hereafter may be sustained by consumers, spectators or others in consequence of participating in the Country Gathering festival.
This release extends and applies to, and also covers and includes, all unknown, unforeseen, unanticipated and unsuspected injuries, damages, losses and liability and the consequences thereof that consumers of products produced and sold in an arts and crafts booth or food booth occupied by me, my employees, or others involved in the selling, consumption or participating in any activities that I or my employees may have on the Country Gathering grounds.
I hereby agree on behalf of my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns to indemnify the HDMAPS and the City of Powder Springs and all members and officials of the HDMAPS and the City of Powder Springs both jointly and severally, and hold harmless from and against any and all actions, claims, demands and liabilities, loss, damage, and expense of whatever kind or nature, including attorney’s fees, which may at any time be incurred by reason of anyone participating in the Country Gathering festival.
It is further agreed and understood that said allowance of my participation in HDMAPS and the City of Powder Springs is not to be construed as an admission of any liability and acceptance of assumption of responsibility by the HDMAPS and the City of Powder Springs it’s officers and members, both jointly and severally. Arts and crafts vendors and food vendors shall indemnify the HDMAPS and the City of Powder Springs could become liable as a result of any alleged act of participation of consumers receiving, purchasing, viewing or other participation in arts and crafts booths or food booths operated by my employees, others, or myself at the Country Gathering festival.
